ALLEN, Samuel Grant - Putnam

Funeral services for Samuel Grant Allen, 71, were held at New Maysville Baptist church Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in New Maysville cemetery. He died at his home southeast of here Sunday. He was the son of Thomas and Barbara Wolf Allen and was born in Tennessee January 1, 1867. He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Hazel Keck, of near here, a brother; Cornelius Allen of New Madison, Ohio and two grandchildren.   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker for sending them
